Contract Adjustments After Signing

I was talking to a niece of mine. She rang me because she was buying her first house and she was very excited. And, she wanted to just run the deal past me, and it sounds like a reasonable kind of deal for a first time owner and all that sort of thing.

It was the very worst house in the very best street that she can afford and all that sort of things. But she rang me very distraught about a week later. And, she said “I think I have made a mistake. I do not know if I am doing the right thing because I got the pest and the building inspection report back and it has got termites in the fence. And there is leaking in the bathroom,” and this and that, and she went through the whole building inspection report.

She said, “You know if I have to get all of those things fixed, it is going to cost me so much money and I probably paid too much for it.”
