Good Morning, Dymphna.

Many thanks for the above article.

However, one would think that the only people needing assistance these days are the First Home Buyers, with the generous offers being made to them. And of course those having children, with the once again generous benefits of the baby bonus.
These fortunate people are, in some cases, probably one and the same.

Also, I believe, new arrivals from overseas can apply for and get the First Home Owners Grant - which allows them to purchase a home for up to $1million.
They don't seem to fit the specifications of legitimately needing help.

But, how about people who have been travelling, and admit they foolishly sold their homes to do so, but now find with the huge increase in prices that they can no longer get a foothold to purchase a home again.

Or people who took advice from some Advisors in the past, who suggested it was a better deal to rent, rather than buy and have to pay rates etc..

These people, and probably plenty of others with similar stories, are now left out in the cold.

After all, in many cases it is the difficulty of saving the deposit which holds up the purchase of another home.

What is your view on these types of scenarios?

Quite a number of people I have spoken with, are of the opinion the money should be spread more evenly among a wider percentage of the population. This would give a more balanced benefit to a larger proportion of people, and so allow others a chance to get back into the market.

After all, who wants to pay rent or live in a caravan for the rest of their lives?

These people, if given the opportunity, would also stimulate the economy.

Regards,

    Maxine.

Totally agree, there are gold mines everywhere at this moment. We are nerves but we believes we are making an informative decision.

This is a most reassuring talk - thanks Dymphna for the positive re-inforcement that what I've been thinking (against the current of family and friends!) is right. Just what I needed at this moment to move forward to do some deals in this amazing climate!

Great to hear someone else being possitive. We have recently taken advantage of the currant market and have settled on a couple of great deals. Our families are constantly voicing their negative opinions to the point where I have started to become afraid also. Dymphna, I am sending this audio to my family.

Hi Dymphna

Thank you for that encouraging recording. It is good to hear someone saying something positive about the current situation. We also believe now is the right time to take advantage of some good deals.
